Sometimes participants who buy courses using our eCommerce feature report that the payment is not loading. We explain why.
We have noticed that the transaction process sometimes does not load when using the eCommerce tool. The reason for this is that SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) has not been configured in Stripe, which may lead to delays.
What is SEPA and why is it important?
SEPA is an unified payment realm which makes payments in Euro possible in the whole of Europe. When SEPA is enabled in Stripe, customers can use it to make payments quickly and easily.
How can the problem be resolved?
To avoid the long loading during the payment process, we recommend to configure SEPA in Stripe. This gives your customers an additional payment option which speeds up the transaction process.
How to configure SEPA in Stripe?
- Log into your Stripe account.
- Enter the area "payment settings" or "payment options" and select "SEPA".
- Follow the instructions to activate and configure SEPA in your Stripe account.
As soon as SEPA is activated in Stripe, your customers should be able to use SEPA as a payment method which will speed up and improve the transaction process.
