Who can view courses and complete them

How to change visibility of your courses

You can specifically determine which participants can view and complete courses on your academy website. To do this, navigate to the course where you want to adjust the visibility settings.

There are three visibility settings that you can customize for each course: Draft, Publicly Visible, and Not Publicly Visible.

Draft means that the course is still under development and can only be seen by the admins of your academy:

Once you click Publish, the course becomes visible with two options:

Not Publicly Visible means that only selected participants can view and complete the course.

If the Publicly Visible toggle is activated, all participants of the academy can see and complete the course. Visitors to the academy can see the course but cannot automatically enroll; they must first register in the academy, provided this option is enabled.

The Publicly Visible setting also applies to catalog courses.

If you are offering your courses for sale, participants can only start the course after purchase.

In this context, "seeing a course" means that participants can see the course tile on the academy's homepage and click to view the course homepage, including the course description.
