How you can manage participant data in your academy
With the software reteach, you can run your own academy and offer online courses. The following roles are defined:
Your Role as a User (i.e., Administrator) of reteach's Software:
- You are the sole provider and owner of your academy. This means:
- You create all the content yourself.
- You are solely responsible for all content.
- The participants belong to you alone.
- You are responsible for the provider identification (imprint).
- You are also responsible for data protection.
If a participant registers for your academy, the data and customer relationship belong solely to you.
Our Role as the Provider of reteach:
- We (Susell GmbH) only provide the infrastructure. We do not have any legal relationship with the users who sign up for your academy.
Regarding data protection, we act as a "data processor," meaning we process your participants' personal data on your behalf, such as storing the data on our servers. You will enter into a separate agreement with us for data processing. However, you remain responsible for data protection. You can find more information in Articles 28 ff. of the GDPR and here:
