How to customise the web address of your academy or use your own
In the settings of your academy you can set the most important settings for the design of the academy and courses:
Academy name (Name der Akademie)
Here, you can define the name of your academy. This can be changed at any time. For a company, the company name can be entered for instance, as a person first and last name or a made up word - XYZ Academy.
Standard-Domain
With the standard domain you define the domain or web address under which your academy can be accessed. The first part of your standard domain can be chosen freely. If the academy is called XYZ Academy for instance, you can use xyz-academy.reteach.io. The standard domain is limited by the ending .reteach.io.
Custom Domain (Eigene Domains)
If you would like to use your own domain (eg. academy.xyz-academy.de) as the domain of your academy, you can easily connect it with reteach. Enter the domain in the section Eigene Domains. After, a DNS entry is necessary to complete the step. With the information provided by us, contact your DNS/Hosting Provider. After completing the DNS entry it may take up to one working day for the domain to be accessible.

The custom domain/standard domain is the link which is communicated to the participants.
Registering participants in your academy
If you would like to ensure that not everyone with access to the link is able to register, leave the box "Jeder kann sich registrieren" blank. This means users of your academy will not see a registration button anymore. If the box is ticked, any user of your academy is able to sign up:
