How you can add an in-person event to your course
Navigate to the course in your administration area where you want to integrate an in-person event. In this course, create a new lesson and select the lesson type Presence Session.
Once you’ve selected the Presence Session, you can set a date for the in-person event. You can change this date later if needed.
After creating the lesson, you’ll have various option fields to configure your in-person event, in addition to the usual content fields and materials:
Presence Session
Use the Presence Session field to inform your participants where the event will take place.
Reminders
Set how many weeks, days, hours, or minutes before the in-person event participants should be automatically reminded of the event via email.
Records
Add recordings in video format to your in-person session either before or after the event, which participants can view upon reaching the lesson. The videos can be uploaded directly to reteach or embedded via a URL from YouTube or Vimeo.
Attendance List
Keep an attendance list to track which participants actually attended the event.
