How participants can upload documents for the course creator to view
Participant submissions enable an interactive learning experience by allowing your participants to complete tasks and upload presentations, assignments, videos, and more.
Creating a Submission Lesson
To receive files from your participants, first create a submission lesson within a course. Click the "Add Lesson" button in the course and then select the "Delivery" option.
Now there are various settings to specify the submission.
Description
Add a description to inform your participants about the type of submission you expect from them.
File Formats
Specify the file extensions you want to allow for upload. Separate the file formats with a comma.
Example: docx, pdf, mp4, pptx, png
This sequence of file extensions would allow the upload of Word files (docx), PDF files (pdf), MP4 videos, PowerPoint files (pptx), and PNG images in the lesson.
Upload from the Participant's Perspective
Still in the lesson in your admin area? Now switch to the preview mode in the top right corner. Here, you can see how the file upload will look for your participants.
Notifications & Viewing Uploads
When a participant makes a new upload, you can see it in your academy’s newsfeed.
To do this, click on the bell in the top right corner of your admin area to open the newsfeed. If an upload has occurred, you will see which participants have uploaded a file in which lesson. You can also directly download the file from here.
Additionally, you can enable email notifications for new submissions. Learn more about that here.
