[Personalisation of your academy](https://support.reteach.com/en/settings?hsLang=en#personalisation-of-your-academy) # How to change the display language in your academy ## How you can change the displayed language in your academy for participants You can set the language of your academy to English from a participant's perspective, allowing you to present your academy and courses to an international audience. You can adjust the display language of your academy as the default for all visitors/participants, but you also have the option to let your participants choose the language in which they want to view your academy.   ### **Setting the default language for your academy**   To do this, navigate to the settings in your administration area and then to "**Academy**." In the first tab, "**General**," of the following overview, you will find the setting for the language of the academy under the name of the academy. Select the appropriate language there and then click "**Save**" in the top right corner.   ![Academy language](https://support.reteach.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Screenshot%202024-08-25%20at%2001-50-22-png.png?width=476&height=501&name=Screenshot%202024-08-25%20at%2001-50-22-png.png) ### **Allowing your participants to choose the language in which they view your academy**   Navigate to the settings of your academy under "Academy." In the view, you will find the checkbox "**Teilnehmende können ihre Sprache ändern**" (Participants can change their language) in the bottom right corner under the "**Language**" category.   ![Language change](https://support.reteach.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Screenshot%202024-08-25%20at%2001-51-34-png.png?width=328&height=168&name=Screenshot%202024-08-25%20at%2001-51-34-png.png) Check this box. After that, your participants can change their display language in their participant profile on your academy page. To do this, they navigate to "**My Account**" in the top right corner, then to "**Account Management**" .
