Up until now, only administrators were able to answer course requests. They would receive a notification for any new request (on their newsfeed and - optionally - via email) and could react accordingly.
After this release it is now possible for managers to respond to course requests. This relieves administrators (and usually also HR) from the pressure of being solely responsible for smooth workflows and enable the decentralised operation of reteach.
How can managers respond to requests?
→ This requires the manager to be added to the list of participants and the feature flag (see above) to be active.
The manager receives a notification via email, is redirected to the corresponding page in the academy and approves or denies the request. This action can be withdrawn within the first 20 seconds.
