1. How to activate the academy app
Your reteach academy can be brought directly onto the smartphone of participants with an app icon. With one click, all contents can be accessed more easily on a phone.
The contents are accessed via the mobile browser. This means the storage of the smartphone is not affected.
To activate the app, click in the main menu on Settings and Academy.
After, navigate to the section App:
Activate the button App aktivieren (activate app). Now you can set a name and app icon. Icon and name are later shown on the home screen.
2. How to install the app on a smartphone as a participant
What do participants need to do to activate the app?
1) Open the website of the academy in the mobile browser on the phone:
2) Now install the app/add the website as an icon to your home screen. This can be done in the settings which are accessed via the 3-dot menu:
3) Now the academy is accessible directly via the icon on your smartphone.
3. How to best communicate this with participants
To help communication with participants, we have prepared the following email as example:
Hello [First Name],
Get the [Academy Name] app on your smartphone now!
From now on, you can access [Academy Name] directly from the home screen of your smartphone through an app. With just one click, it takes you straight to your courses, without needing to open the website in the browser every time. This makes learning even easier and more flexible.
But don't worry! The app doesn't take up any storage space on your smartphone, as it directly redirects you to the mobile browser.
